Amid the playing of funeral music, wreaths were laid in the name of KPA units, the C.C., the Korean Social Democratic Party, the C.C., the Chondoist Chongu Party, the C.C., the Korean Christian Federation, the Ministry of Labor, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Food Procurement and Administration, Bureau of Service for Overseas Compatriots, Central Information and Communications Centre, Central Committee of the Writers Union of Korea, State Symphony Orchestra, Pyongyang Kim Won Gyun Conservatory, Eastern Pyongyang Thermal-power Plant, Taedonggang TV Set Factory and others.

The mourners paid a silent tribute to Kim Jong Il, looking up to his venerable image.

They could hardly repress their bitter grief before his bier.

All of them hardened their iron faith and will to successfully carry to completion the Songun revolutionary cause of Juche and the cause of building a thriving socialist nation, closely rallied around Kim Jong Un, the supreme leader of the Workers' Party of Korea and the Korean people.
