Pyongyang, December 27 (KCNA) -- Personages of various countries paid condolatory visits to the DPRK embassies between Dec. 20 and 23 on the demise of leader Kim Jong Il.

They included the foreign minister and the director general of the General Administration for East Asia and Pacific of the Foreign Ministry of Pakistan, the chairman and leadership members of the Romanian Socialist Union, a delegation of the Democratic Party of Guinea led by the secretary for education, science and culture of the Party who is member of its National Political Bureau, Secretary General Riyad Chaloub and Director of Foreign Affairs Abdoulaye Diallo of the Ministry of Culture and Heritage of Guinea, the deputy general director of the government organ Horoya, Vice-President of Kindia University Boubakar Diakite, Director General of the Kim Il Sung Institute of Agricultural Science Secouna Camara and the vice-chairman of the Kimilsungia-Kimjongilia Association in Guinea and Chairman of the Guinea-Korea Friendship Association Banou Keita.

Among them were also the minister of Sports, the information secretary of the C.C., Communist Party, the vice-president and the international secretary of the Party for Free Motherland and the chairman of its Brasillia City Committee, and the director for East Asian Affairs and the acting chief of Protocol of the Foreign Ministry of Brazil.

In this period ambassadors and charges d'affaires a.i. of Russia, Myanmar, Nepal, Bangladesh, Philippines, Algeria and Kyrgyzstan to Pakistan paid condolatory visits to the DPRK embassy in Islamabad and the president of the World Peace Council paid condolatory visit to the DPRK embassy in Brazil.

They laid bouquets before the portraits of Kim Jong Il and paid a silent tribute to him.

Personages of the Amazonas and Miranda provincial committees of the Communist Party and the Central University of Venezuela on Dec. 22 visited the mourning center, set up at the building of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Venezuela, to express condolences.

Meanwhile the general manager of the Interpetrol Co., Ltd. sent a wreath to the mourning centre on Dec. 23.
