Pyongyang, December 27 (KCNA) -- Wreaths in the names of political parties, art groups and personages of Russia were laid before the bier of leader Kim Jong Il at the Kumsusan Memorial Palace on Tuesday to express their deep sympathy over his demise.

They included the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, the Party for Peace and Unity of Russia, the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union, the "Orchestra of the 21st Century", the Academy Ensemble of the Interior Unit of the Russian Ministry of Interior, the State Academic Igor Moiseyev Dance Company, the State Academy Beryozka Dancing Troupe of Russia Named after N. S. Nadezhdina.

Wreaths also came from Konstantin Borisovich Pulikovski, former presidential envoy to the Far East Region of the Russian Federation, and the president of the Russkiy Mir Foundation of Russia.
