Pyongyang, December 27 (KCNA) -- Kim Chan Song, chairman of the World Federation of Overseas Korean Economists, together with his family paid a condolatory visit to the DPRK embassy in Moscow on Dec. 25 on the demise of leader Kim Jong Il.

He laid a wreath before the portrait of Kim Jong Il and observed a moment's silence.

Upon hearing the sad news of the demise of Kim Jong Il, overseas Koreans are in a bitter grief, he said, and went on:

There is no one such as respected General Kim Jong Il in the world.

He was a great man with gifted military stratagem, noble moral obligation and boundless love for the country and the people.

He remained most faithful to the cause of the great leader Comrade Kim Il Sung. That is why all the Korean people have acclaimed and absolutely supported him as the recognized leader of the party, the state and the people, holding him in high esteem as the sun of the nation and the great leader.

Comrade Kim Jong Il will be remembered by all Koreans as the greatest leader who devoted his whole life to the country and the people.
