Pyongyang, December 28 (KCNA) -- The south Korean Federation of University Students in the 21st Century held a press conference outside the "governmental" building on Tuesday at which it protested against the puppet authorities' actions to block NGOs' condolatory visits to the north.

Speakers at the press conference held that the authorities are not expressing official condolences over the great loss of the nation and, moreover, taking such unethical actions as disallowing condolatory visits of NGOs, further straining the inter-Korean relations.

They declared they would visit the north to express sympathy over the passing of Chairman of the National Defence Commission Kim Jong Il in order to implement the joint declarations and achieve peaceful reunification of the Korean Peninsula.

They urged the "government" to take measures for students' condolatory visits, warning it would be the last opportunity for the authorities for mending the fences with the north.
