Pyongyang, December 28 (KCNA) -- The dear respected Kim Jong Un received a condolatory message from Vitaly Ignatenko, general director of the ITAR-TASS, over the demise of General Secretary Kim Jong Il.

The general director expressed deep condolences over the demise of Kim Jong Il.

I would never forget the great feats performed by Kim Jong Il for the development of the friendly relations between Russia and the DPRK, he noted, adding:

The answers he gave to the questions put by the ITAR-TASS in 2001 and 2011 evoked great response throughout the world.

The demise of Kim Jong Il is an irrevocable loss to all the officials of the ITAR-TASS, he said, noting staff members of the ITAR-TASS are sharing sorrow with Kim Jong Un and the Korean people.

Though Kim Jong Il passed away, he will be always remembered by them, he stressed.
