Pyongyang, December 28 (KCNA) -- Foreign personages paid condolatory visits to the DPRK missions in their countries on the demise of leader Kim Jong Il from December 19 to 26.

They left wreaths and bouquets before portraits of Kim Jong Il and paid silent tribute to him.

The secretary of the Donggang City Committee of the Communist Party of China said that the citizens in Donggang City deeply revere Kim Jong Il. We will turn sorrow into strength together with the Korean people and devote all efforts to promote the prosperity of the two countries, he added.

The chairman of the Iran-Korea Friendship Parliamentary Group expressed deep condolences over the demise of Kim Jong Il, hoping that the Korean people would turn the sorrow into strength and courage and achieve the success in the building of a thriving nation under the leadership of the dear respected Kim Jong Un.

The director of the above-said Nepalese bank said that the sad news of the demise of Kim Jong Il brought the people and followers of the Juche idea of Nepal the greatest sorrow.

Kim Jong Il was the great leader recognized by the world, he added.

The chairman of the British Association for the Study of Songun Policy stressed that Kim Jong Il who victoriously led the cause of independence against imperialism under the uplifted banner of Songun would always live in the hearts of mankind.
