Pyongyang, December 28 (KCNA) -- The Solidarity for Democracy, People's Life, Peaceful Reunification and Sovereignty of south Korea on Dec. 26 made public a condolatory statement on the demise of General Secretary Kim Jong Il.

The Solidarity expresses heartfelt condolences on the untimely demise of Kim Jong Il, chairman of the National Defence Commission, the statement said.

Extending deepest condolences and sympathy to the compatriots in the north, it hoped that they would convert bitter grief into strength and courage to dynamically advance.
