Pyongyang, December 28 (KCNA) -- Egyptian Prime Minister Kamal El Ganzouri expressed condolences over the demise of leader Kim Jong Il.

Authorized by the prime minister, the vice foreign minister for Asia visited the DPRK embassy in Cairo on December 25 to mourn the demise of Kim Jong Il.

He laid a floral basket before the portrait of Kim Jong Il on behalf of the prime minister and expressed condolences.

He, on behalf of the prime minister, expressed condolences to the government and the people of the DPRK.

He expressed the conviction that the Korean people would overcome sorrow and sufferings under the guidance of their leadership.
