Pyongyang, December 28 (KCNA) -- Nepalese President Ram Baran Yadav expressed deep condolences over the demise of leader Kim Jong Il.

Authorized by the president, the secretary of the President's Secretariat visited the DPRK embassy in Katmandu on December 26 and observed a moment's silence before the portrait of Kim Jong Il.

He said that in the demise of leader Kim Jong Il the Nepalese people lost a close friend and this is the greatest loss to the two peoples.

He expressed belief that the Korean people would successfully carry forward and accomplish the cause of President Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il under the leadership of respected Kim Jong Un.
