Foreign Media Mourn Demise of Kim Jong Il

Pyongyang, December 29 (KCNA) -- The Bangladeshi newspaper Blits posted special write-ups on its Internet homepage between Dec. 22 and 24 on the demise of leader Kim Jong Il.

The homepage said in an article captioned "Leader Kim Jong Il and red flag" said: The bier of HE Kim Jong Il is draped in a red flag, a brilliant symbol of his revolutionary faith and will to accomplish the revolutionary cause of Juche.

In an article titled "The Korean children calling father in chocking voices" it noted HE Kim Jong Il, busy as he was with providing the Songun revolutionary leadership, gave everything he could do to the children so that there might not be the slightest shadow on their faces.

A workers' union in Moscow on Dec. 24 in an article posted on its Internet homepage said that Kim Jong Il gave correct answers to many issues arising in the course of revolutionary struggle and protected the destiny of socialism through his energetic theoretical and practical activities at a time when the world socialist movement was undergoing serious frustration.

The Ecuadorian paper Tribuna on Dec. 21 noted Kim Jong Il wisely led all the Korean people to uphold the Juche idea, the revolutionary idea of President Kim Il Sung, as the only guiding idea.

The Jordanian paper Al Diyar on Dec. 24 said Kim Jong Il made a great contribution to developing the friendly relations with other countries and achieving peace and stability on the Korean Peninsula.
