Foreign Party Leaders Visit DPRK Embassies

Pyongyang, December 29 (KCNA) -- The general secretary of the Council of the Ethiopian People's Revolutionary Democratic Front who is member of its Executive Committee, paid a condolatory visit to the DPRK embassy in Addis Ababa on December 26 and Evariste Boshab, general secretary of the People's Party for the Reconstruction and the Democracy of Democratic Congo, and his party also paid a condolatory visit to the DPRK embassy in Kinshasa on December 27 on the demise of leader Kim Jong Il.

They laid wreaths before the portraits of Kim Jong Il and paid silent tribute to him.

The general secretary of the Council of the Ethiopian Democratic Front wrote in the mourners' book that he, on behalf of the leadership and all members of the Ethiopian People's Revolutionary Democratic Front, expresses the most profound condolences over the demise of Kim Jong Il.

Evariste Boshab noted in the mourners' book that the demise of Kim Jong Il is a great loss to humankind, reaffirming that his party would always stand by the Korean people and the Workers' Party of Korea in their efforts to boost the friendship and defend justice.

Meanwhile, personages of political parties and organizations of Pakistan paid condolatory visits to the DPRK embassy in Islamabad on December 20 and 21 over the demise of Kim Jong Il.

They included the general secretary of the Sind Provincial Committee and the secretary of the Information Department of the Karachi Branch of the Pakistan People's Party, the general secretary of the Karachi Branch of the Worker-Peasant Party, the deputy secretary general of the Pakistan Trade Union Federation and the secretary general of the Karachi Branch of the Pakistan-Korea Friendship Association.
