Foreign Personages Visit DPRK Embassies

Pyongyang, December 29 (KCNA) -- A mourners group of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Vietnam, a delegation of the Secretariat of the Great King, a delegation of the Ministry of Culture and Arts of Cambodia and a delegation of the Thailand-DPRK Friendship Parliamentary Group paid condolatory visits to the DPRK embassies in their countries on December 26 and 27 over the demise of leader Kim Jong Il.

They laid wreaths, bouquets and flowers before the portraits of Kim Jong Il and paid silent tribute to him.

Samlee Plianbangchang, director of the Regional Office for South-East Asia of the WHO, Tuesday paid a condolatory visit to the DPRK embassy in New Delhi. He laid a flower basket before the portrait of Kim Jong Il and paid silent tribute to him.

Keith Bennet, secretary general of the International Kim Il Sung Foundation, paid a condolatory visit to the DPRK embassy in London on Dec. 20 and expressed condolences.

He said that Kim Jong Il was a legendary brilliant commander of Mt. Paektu and a patriot and internationalist without an equal. He will always live in the hearts of mankind, he added.
