Pyongyang, December 29 (KCNA) -- Organizations of Koreans in China and compatriots visited mourning centers arranged in Yanbian regional association, Hailin City branch, Longjing City branch, Jiamusi City branch and Dandong branch under the General Association of Koreans in China and the DPRK consulate general in Shenyang on the demise of leader Kim Jong Il.

Visitors to the mourning stations included Choe Un Bok, chairperson of the association, and its officials and officials and members of regional associations and branches under the association. Regional associations included those in Zhongnan, Yanbian, Jilin, Harbin, Mudanjiang, Jiamusi and city branches included those in Beijing, Shenyang, Panjin, Anshan, Fushun, Yanji, Longjing, Helong,　 Hunchun, Tumen, Tunhua, Baishan, Jixi, Ningan, Hailin, Jiamusi, Tieli and Changbai County.

Mourners also included members of the General Association of Korean Youth in China, the Korean Economic Workers in China, the Youth Committee in Yanbian Region, Hwang Yong Du, chairman of the Liaoning regional association of the General Association of Koreans in China, and his family, the association of Korean elderly in China, Shenyang association of old Korean teachers, the Shenyang solidarity council of Koreans, the Liaoning association of Koreans for economic and cultural exchange, Liaoning provincial association of Korean businessmen, the Shenyang city association of Korean businessmen, the Shenyang-Korea Trade Company Ltd., the Shenyang New Century Trade Company, the China International Investment Trade Company, the Liaoning Chemical Industrial Export and Import Company and the National Research Institute of Yanbian University and Koreans in China.

The participants placed wreaths in memory of Kim Jong Il and paid silent tribute.
