Foreign Political Figures Visit DPRK Embassies

Pyongyang, December 29 (KCNA) -- Thai Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra and Bangladeshi Foreign Minister Dipu Moni paid condolatory visits to the DPRK embassies in their countries on Tuesday on demise of leader Kim Jong Il.

They placed wreaths before the portrait of Kim Jong Il and paid silent tribute.

The Cambodian Senate delegation made up of the chairman of the Second Senate Committee, the chairman of the Ninth Senate Committee, the vice-chairman of the Third Committee and senators paid a condolatory visit to the DPRK embassy Monday.

The delegation laid a wreath before the portrait of Kim Jong Il and observed a moment's silence.

The chairman of the Second Senate Committee said the Senate and people of Cambodia are hardly repressing bitter grief at the news that His Excellency Kim Jong Il passed away.

He expressed deep condolences to the bereaved family members and the government and people of the DPRK.

The leadership and heroism displayed by Marshal Kim Jong Il will be remembered by history and cherished in the hearts of humankind, he stressed.
