Pyongyang, December 29 (KCNA) -- A party arranged by the dear respected Kim Jong Un was given at the Mokran House for consoling overseas compatriots on Thursday.

Present there were a delegation of mourners of the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan (Chongryon) led by Nam Sung U, vice-chairman of its Central Standing Committee, a delegation of mourners of the General Association of Koreans in China led by its Chairperson Choe Un Bok, and other delegations of mourners of Chongryon, visiting groups of overseas Korean mourners and overseas Koreans.

Present there were Kim Yong Nam, president of the Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly, Kim Yang Gon, secretary of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, Ro Tu Chol, vice-premier of the Cabinet, and officials concerned.

Kim Yang Gon said in his speech that Kim Jong Un showed such deep loving care as arranging a party to console the grief-stricken overseas compatriots.

This party is associated with the trust and love of Kim Jong Un wishing them to convert sorrow into thousand-fold strength and courage and invariably keep to the road of patriotism, he noted, and continued: Standing in the van of the Juche revolutionary cause today is Kim Jong Un who is identical to President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il in ideas, leadership, virtues, personality and traits.

Our army and people will build a thriving socialist nation of Juche without fail and achieve the cause of national reunification, the desires of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il, under the wise leadership of Kim Jong Un.

Nam Sung U said in his speech: As I am sitting at the table of the party arranged under the loving care, I feel a lump in my throat at the thought of the kind-hearted General, our father.

He stressed Kim Jong Un is the heart of Kim Il Sung's nation, a symbol of dignity and mightiness of Songun Korea and a strong mainstay of independence and justice.

Noting that Kim Jong Un is encouraging the homeland and people of Kim Jong Il to rise above bitter sorrow with his intense loyalty, extraordinary leadership art and virtues, he called for developing overseas compatriots' organizations including Chongryon into powerful patriotic organizations which share destiny with the socialist homeland.
