Organizations of Russia, Nepal, Switzerland Issue Statements

Pyongyang, December 30 (KCNA) -- The Young Communist League of Russia, the Russian preparatory committee for commemorating the centenary of birth of President Kim Il Sung and the Nepali Socialist Forum of Journalists issued statements on Dec. 24 and 26 on the demise of leader Kim Jong Il. The C.C., Young Communist League of Russia in a statement said that the world progressives are overcome with pain and sorrow at the great loss--the demise of Kim Jong Il, the outstanding leader of the world socialist movement. The statement noted: He visited again and again not only cities, rural areas and industrial complexes but small farm villages and devoted himself to happiness of the people till the last moment of his life, finding himself among workers, farmers and servicepersons wherever he went, the statement noted. The heart of the bright star over Mt. Paektu stopped beating but it will always shed bright rays of revolution. We are firmly convinced that the Korean people will heroically overcome all difficulties even in sorrow, rallied closer around the dear respected Kim Jong Un, the great successor, and the Workers' Party of Korea, and continue advancing toward a bright future, The Russian preparatory committee for commemorating the centenary of birth of President Kim Il Sung in a statement stressed that Kim Jong Il will always be remembered by the working masses as a symbol of true human being cherished in their minds at all times. The Switzerland-Korea Committee and the Swiss Group for the Study of the Juche Idea in a joint statement on Dec. 21 said that Kim Jong Il pursued the Songun politics, making a great contribution to shattering all the moves of the U.S. imperialists and the south Korean warmongers for a war of aggression and defending the peace in the Korean Peninsula and the rest of the world. |
