Pyongyang, December 30 (KCNA) -- Tanzanian President Jakaya Mrisho Kikwete expressed deep condolences on the demise of leader Kim Jong Il on Tuesday.

Authorized by the president, the minister of State for the Vice-President Office visited the DPRK mission in Dar Es Salaam on the same day and paid a silent tribute to Kim Jong Il.

The minister said he hoped that the friendly Korean government and people would overcome the sorrow as soon as possible and display strength and courage to gain successes in the efforts to realize the desire of Kim Jong Il under the guidance of the dear respected Kim Jong Un.
