Pyongyang, December 30 (KCNA) -- Oleg Kozhemyako, governor of Amur Region of Russia, recollected with deep emotion the personality of leader Kim Jong Il as a great man, according to a Ria-Novosti news report of Russia on December 20.

The governor paid a condolatory visit to a DPRK construction company in Blagobeshensk City to express deep condolences on the demise of Kim Jong Il, the report said, adding:

Kozhemyako is the only regional governor in Russia who had the honor of being received by Kim Jong Il several times.

Kim Jong Il received the governor in the DPRK in October this year, too.

Recalling Kim Jong Il, the governor posted on an Internet website the following article:

Leader Kim Jong Il was an unworldly-minded, all-round, kind and careful man.

He talked about all problems of society and cracked a lot of joke.

I even bet with him in jest.

He was deeply versed in the Russian people's tradition of culture.

In October this year, the Amur regional delegation was accorded very warm and sincere hospitality in the DPRK. All of us never forget that time.
