Pyongyang, December 30 (KCNA) -- Kim Yong Nam, president of the Presidium of the DPRK Supreme People's Assembly, met and had a talk in a compatriotic atmosphere with the mourners delegation of the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan led by Nam Sung U, vice-chairman of the its Central Standing Committee, at the Mansudae Assembly Hall Friday.

At the talk Nam Sung U said that the untimely demise of leader Kim Jong Il is the greatest loss to our nation.

Officials of Chongryon and Koreans in Japan will turn sorrow into thousand-fold strength and courage and develop Chongryon true to the intention of Kim Jong Il.

He expressed his firm will to hold Kim Jong Il in high esteem forever and remain loyal to the leadership of the dear respected Kim Jong Un.
