Pyongyang, December 31 (KCNA) -- Personages of Peru and Finland issued statements on Dec. 26 on the demise of leader Kim Jong Il.

Genaro Ledesma Izquieta, chairman of the People's Front of Workers, Peasants and Students of Peru, drawing attention to the demise of Kim Jong Il, said the entire world grieved over the demise of the great man in bitter sorrow.

HE Kim Jong Un possessed of versatile qualities as a leader will lead socialist Korea to the future, he stressed.

The chairman of the Finnish National Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea said Kim Jong Il was a famous thinker and theoretician and a great philosopher in the new century recognized and revered by the world.

He noted he is sure that the Korean people would register greater successes in their efforts to build a thriving socialist nation and realize national reunification united behind the dear respected Kim Jong Un.
