Pyongyang, December 31 (KCNA) -- Dilma Vana Rousseff, president of Brazil, bitterly accused the governments of the United States and other Western countries of having brought serious financial crisis to the world.

Despite the debt crisis in the U.S., the Democratic Party and the Republican Party were engrossed in the partisan dispute and the government failed to take positive step, resulting in the worse crisis which has swept the world, she noted.

Referred to the similar situation created in Western countries, the president said that the main cause of the financial crisis is not on the lack of money but on the governments of the U.S. and other Western countries which failed to make proper policy decision in time.
