Pyongyang, December 31 (KCNA) -- A spokesperson for Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas condemned on Wednesday Israel's plan to build 130 new housing units in the Gilo settlement near Jerusalem.

"Peace talks cannot be revived as long as settlement construction is going on," he added.

He called on the international community to take positive measures for stopping the Israel's settlement expansion.
