Pyongyang, December 31 (KCNA) -- The Lee Myung Bak group of traitors committed thrice-cursed crimes by seriously hurting the dignity of the DPRK and brutally suppressing south Korean mourners of various social standings, a clear indication of their sinister aim to escalate the confrontation with it on the occasion of the great loss to the nation.

The Committee for the Peaceful Reunification of Korea Saturday issued a statement condemning them.

The statement said:

The group of traitors blocked visits of south Korean mourners of all strata, snatched condolence messages and desecrated them. Moreover, it brutally cracked down upon those who set up mourning stations and forcibly tore those who played a leading role in the adoption of the June 15 joint declaration off the party of Ri Hui Ho and Hyon Jong Un when the former intended to join it, thus making their visit to Pyongyang abortive.

The puppet group staged madcap saber-rattling in the area along the Military Demarcation Line and waters around the five islands in the West Sea, in particular. Not content with this, the group instigated human scum to scatter several times anti-DPRK leaflets with the help of balloons during the mourning period, rubbing salt into the wounds of so many grief-stricken people. This was a dastardly provocation baffling human imagination.

We had already sternly warned of the group's unethical rowdyism and served warnings against the dangerous impact it would have on the north-south relations.

The puppet group, however, did not pay any heed to this but chose to totally sever those relations, far from working to mend them.

Now that the nature of the confrontation-minded group and its ulterior intention have been brought to light, there is no reason for us to say anything to it or closely follow it.

The group dared infringe upon our dignity, hurting compatriots bitterly grieving the greatest loss to the nation. These unethical crimes and treachery committed by the group are unprecedented in history. This glaringly shows what rude political gangsters the group is and what despicable immoral and depraved horde it is.

The thrice-cursed crimes the group committed by mercilessly hurting the compatriots who have shared joy and sorrow since the publication of the June 15 joint declaration put into the shade the acts of treachery perpetrated by the "civilian" veiled fascist clique 17 years back. That is why these crimes are making not only the servicepersons and people of the DPRK but all the compatriots shake with towering resentment.

Traitor Lee Myung Bak was none other than the criminal who masterminded all these crimes and the real culprit of evils.

He is the worst type anti-reunification element, traitor and pro-U.S. fascist maniac steeped in extreme bitterness towards compatriots and confrontation hysteria to the marrow of his bones.

It is clear that there is nothing to expect from the inter-Korean relations and the nation will suffer only calamities and misfortune as long as this guy stays in office. This is the final conclusion drawn by the army and people of the DPRK.

The Committee for the Peaceful Reunification of Korea, reflecting the towering resentment of all the servicepersons and people of the DPRK and all the Koreans, decisively declares that the DPRK will never pardon the unethical crimes and treachery of the group of traitors who hurt the dignity of its supreme leadership and it is left with no option but to finally settle accounts with the Lee group unless it apologizes for the above-said crimes. He who acted against the will of Heaven deserves punishment by it.

The group of traitors is sure to face a stern judgment by history and the nation and go to ruin for committing the greatest wrongs and hurting the compatriots in bitter grief over the greatest loss.
