Pyongyang, December 31 (KCNA) -- The Democratic People's Republic of Korea has made great achievements conducive to the improvement of the people's living in Juche 100 (2011).

Builders of the Huichon Power Station have finished in a little more than two years the concrete tamping of two dams and construction of a waterway tunnel which would have taken more than 10 years.

A glass bottle factory appeared in Nampho City with all its production processes streamlined.

A fully-equipped meat shop was opened in Pothongmun Street in Pyongyang.

Suan Youth Power Station No. 2, Sukchon Jinsong Garment Factory and Kumkop Combined Foodstuff Factory for Sportspersons also made their appearance in the country this year.
