Carried in the paper were the portrait of smiling Kim Jong Il, his photos giving field guidance to the work in various fields and photos of the dear respected Kim Jong Un mourning and standing guard beside the bier of Kim Jong Il.

It carried articles sub-titled "Kim Jong Il, the great father of people", "Songun revolutionary exploits of HE Kim Jong Il are lauded in different countries of the world" and "HE Kim Jong Un, mental mainstay of the Korean people", "Warm loving care shown by HE Kim Jong Un for his people" with the photos showing the mourning atmosphere that pervaded the DPRK over Kim Jong Il's demise.

Referring to the Korean people's bitter grief at the sudden loss of the nation's father at a historic time when the centenary of birth of President Kim Il Sung is at hand, the paper said the career of Kim Jong Il was one dedicated to the country and the people.

The army and people of the DPRK will as ever hold Kim Jong Il in high esteem and uphold with loyalty the leadership of Kim Jong Un, concluded the paper.
