Present there were Kwak Pom Gi, chief secretary of the South Hamgyong Provincial Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, Choe Chang Sik, minister of Public Health, and other officials, builders, employees of the hospital and public health workers.

Kwak Pom Gi in an address said that the hospital has been rebuilt on a vast area for successful treatment and researches under the meticulous guidance and warm loving care shown by leader Kim Jong Il.

He underscored the need to better spruce up and manage the hospital, enhance the responsibility and role of the medical workers and thus glorify long the undying leadership feats of the peerlessly great persons.
