Pyongyang, January 1 (KCNA) -- Upon receiving the New Year editorial published jointly by the DPRK's three major newspapers -- Rodong Sinmun, Joson Inmingun and Chongnyon Jonwi -- Korean people pledge loyalty to the dear respected Kim Jong Un. Kim Yong Ho, 30, a worker of the Pyongyang 326 Electric Wire Factory, told KCNA that the Korean people could get over the grief at the demise of leader Kim Jong Il as they have Kim Jong Un identical to him. He vowed to venerate Kim Jong Un, the banner of all victories and glory, as the eternal centre of unity. Pak Kum Hui, 43, a teacher of Kim Chaek University of Technology, said: "During the more than ten days of the mourning period, I keenly felt that Kim Jong Un pursuing politics of love for the people is identical to leader Kim Jong Il. I will always share the same destiny with Kim Jong Un and faithfully uphold his intention." Cha Il Jin, 58, an officer of the Korean People's Army, said: "I will devotedly defend Supreme Commander Kim Jong Un in any adversity as the revolutionary forerunners did. I will devote myself to defending our socialism centered on the masses under his leadership to fully discharge my duty as a descendant of President Kim Il Sung and soldier and disciple of leader Kim Jong Il." The joint New Year editorial calls on the whole party, army and people to become a fortress and shield in defending Kim Jong Un. |
