Reflecting the ardent reverence of all the servicepersons, the officers and men of the division offered New Year greetings to the respected Supreme Commander who visited their post, carrying with him the warm love of leader Kim Jong Il, with the thought of the feelings of the soldiers who have greeted the New Year in tears.

After receiving a salute, he, kindly taking the hands of the commanding officers, said that he wished to see comrades who would spend days in tears after the loss of Kim Jong Il. He told them to put forth their strength.

He, conducted by the commanding officers of the division, went round the room dedicated to education in the revolutionary history and the room devoted to the history of the division.

105 Tank Division is one of the units associated with more relics about the leadership of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il than any other units, he noted, calling upon the officers and men of the division to prepare themselves to be a group of stalwart fighters, cherishing deep in their mind the efforts of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il who devoted their all to developing the tank force of the country.

Going round an operation research room, e-library, apparatuses for training, etc., he learned about training and preparations for going into action.

He highly appreciated the officers and men of the division for putting spurs to training and rounding off combat preparations, not slackening high alert even a moment, while following the enemy's moves for aggression with vigilance.

He called for displaying the revolutionary trait of training and Mt. Paektu trait of training, the trait of spending sleepless night and greeting new day, deeply aware that only when one is good at training in peace time, can one creditably discharge the sacred mission one assumes before the country and its people in the wartime.

He underlined the need to be ready for fight and keep arms and combat and technical equipment always ready for actions in the revolutionary spirit of self-reliance and the spirit of overcoming difficulties and thus maintain the same alert posture as just before firing arms at all times.

Asking in detail about the use of computers in the e-library, he said how Kim Jong Il would have been pleased, if he had looked at them.

Going round the Three- Revolution Red Flag sub-unit directly under the division this day, he took care of the living of soldiers as their real father would do.

Pleased to hear in the bedroom that soldiers are living in the warm room in midwinter thanks to the heating equipment provided by Kim Jong Il with loving care, he personally took its temperature and told them he would visit them without any notice and do it in the future.

Watching varieties of steamy food on the kitchen table, he repeatedly told officers to feed the soldiers well as it was holiday. Only then Kim Jong Il would feel relieved, he said, underscoring the need to provide rich diet to the soldiers whom Kim Jong Il loved so much all his life.

It is the obligation of the commanding officers to take good care of the living of soldiers, he said, adding they should become not only elder brothers and elder sisters of soldiers but genuine revolutionary comrades-in-arms who share weal and woe with them.

He had a photo session with the officers and men of the division.
