Senior officials of the Party, army and state are greatly pleased and excited to have the pride of holding another illustrious commander of Mt. Paektu-type born of Heaven.

Choe Ryong Hae, secretary of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, noted that Kim Jong Un's assumption of supreme commandership is an expression of the firm will of the WPK and the people to accomplish the revolutionary cause of Songun started in Mt. Paektu under his leadership.

Choe evinced his resolution to fully embody the idea of attaching importance to arms and military affairs, true to the Songun politics of the Party.

Kim Jong Gak, first vice director of the General Political Bureau of the KPA, noted that it is the greatest honor of the KPA to be blessed with great supreme commanders generation after generation.

He stressed that the whole army would become 7th Regiment today which devotedly protects the supreme commander as a ten thousand-fold bulwark, in hearty response to the slogan "Let us defend with our very lives the Party Central Committee headed by the dear respected Comrade Kim Jong Un!"

Vice-Premier Ro Tu Chol said that all the leading officials in the field of the economy pledge themselves to bolster the nation's defense capability and bring about a decisive turn in building an economic power and improving the standard of people's living true to the Songun revolutionary leadership of the supreme commander.
