Iran Succeeds in Production of Uranium Fuel Rods

| Tehran, January 2 (KCNA) -- Scientists and researchers of Iran's Atomic Energy Organization succeeded in production and test of its own uranium fuel rods for use in its nuclear power plants, according to the state television of this country on Sunday. The rods, made of natural uranium, were inserted into the core of Iran's nuclear research reactor after successfully going through all preliminary tests, the television reported. |
