Nepali Contributes Article on Demise of Kim Jong Il

Pyongyang, January 4 (KCNA) -- Ram K. Karmacharya, chairman of the Study and Research Forum of Songun Politics of the National Press Club of Nepal, contributed an article to newspaper Dristi on Dec. 28 on the demise of leader Kim Jong Il. The article stressed that Kim Jong Il, the great leader of the socialist cause and anti-imperialist struggle, faithfully carried forward the cause of President Kim Il Sung and devoted all his life to the Korean people's happiness. He energetically worked for the independent and peaceful reunification of Korea and defended peace of the Korean Peninsula and the world, it said, adding that the Korean people are overcome with bitter grief at his demise. It noted that events for mourning the demise of Kim Jong Il have taken place in the DPRK and different countries. The Korean people have the dear respected Kim Jong Un as the great successor to the revolution, the article said, stating that he would reliably defend the sovereignty of the DPRK and achieve the independent and peaceful reunification of Korea without fail. Major political parties and public organizations of Nepal have expressed their deep condolences on the demise of Kim Jong Il through their statements, it added. |
