France and Spain Record Tepid Car Sales in 2011

Pyongyang, January 5 (KCNA) -- France sold less new cars in 2011 from a year earlier following the end of a scrapping scheme, French Car Sales Federation (CCFA) said Monday.

Last year, 2.204 million units were sold across France, down by 2.1 percent from the previous year.

Some 808,000 new cars were sold in Spain in 2011, 17.7 percent down from the previous year.

It is said that the vehicle industry sections of those countries suffer from severe depression as reduction of sale quantities.
