Pyongyang, January 6 (KCNA) -- The Nepali paper Jana Sata on Dec. 31 last year carried a special write-up illustrated with a photo of leader Kim Jong Il on his demise. In an article titled "Leader Kim Jong Il will be immortal" the paper said: In the demise of Kim Jong Il, leader of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, on December 17, 2011 the world lost the most distinguished great man. He was, indeed, the greatest man. He comprehensively developed in depth the Juche idea and the Songun idea founded by President Kim Il Sung, the father of socialist Korea and the pioneer of the human cause of independence. He published works at a time when socialism collapsed in different countries and the human cause of independence was undergoing trials, proving that socialism is an invariable ideal of mankind. He held higher the banner of Songun in the 1990s when the anti-socialist offensive of the imperialist allied forces was focused on the DPRK. Under his grand plan and energetic guidance the DPRK could produce and launch satellites and hold the position of a nuclear weapons state. He made sure that the historic June 15 North-South Joint Declaration and the October 4 declaration were adopted and published, ushering in a grand June 15 era of reunification based on the idea of "By our nation itself". He brought about a new surge in the world socialist movement and conducted external activities, making a great contribution to building a new independent world and defending the world peace and security. He was a tender-hearted father of the people. Vishwanath, director-general of the International Institute of the Juche Idea, said that Kim Jong Il was a man produced by the world so that he might serve humankind, adding that such great man is born once in several centuries. He will always live in the hearts of the Korean people and progressive mankind. |
