Iran's Army Commander Warns against Return of U.S. Aircraft Carrier to Persian Gulf

| Tehran, January 5 (KCNA) -- Iran's army commander warned on Tuesday against the return of the U.S. aircraft carrier to the Persian Gulf. The U.S. aircraft carrier had left the Persian Gulf to the Sea of Oman during Iran's recent navy drill in the Strait of Hormuz. The commander made the remarks on the sidelines of the parade held in Iran's southern waters to mark the end of the 10-day drill. "We advise the U.S. aircraft carrier not to return to the Persian Gulf because we will not stop just on words and advice," he declared. |
