Members of Agricultural and Women's Unions Vow to Carry out Joint New Year Editorial

Pyongyang, January 6 (KCNA) -- Agricultural workers and members of the Union of Agricultural Workers met at the Chongsan Co-op Farm in Kangso District while officials and members of the Democratic Women's Union of Korea in the plaza of the Party Founding Memorial Tower on Friday to thoroughly implement the decision of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, the joint calls of the Central Committee and the Central Military Commission of the WPK and the militant tasks set forth in the joint New Year editorial and respond to the letter of the working people of South Hamgyong Province. At the meetings Ri Myong Gil, chairman of the C.C., the Union of Agricultural Workers of Korea, and Ro Song Sil, chairwoman of the C.C., the Democratic Women's Union of Korea, made reports to be followed by speeches. They said that the militant appeal of the WPK and the letter of working people in South Hamgyong Province is a militant banner that all the servicepersons and people should consistently hold fast to in remaining loyal to the leadership of the dear respected Kim Jong Un. They expressed their faith and will to most significantly commemorate the centenary of birth of President Kim Il Sung and the 70th birth anniversary of Kim Jong Il and surely open the gate to a thriving nation this year and thus win a new victory in the revolutionary cause of Juche. They stressed the need to demonstrate before the world the might of the single-minded unity of the DPRK inheriting generation after generation, remaining loyal to the idea and leadership of Kim Jong Un, deeply cherishing that he is the banner of the victory and glory of Songun Korea and the center of the eternal unity. Attending the meetings were Choe Ryong Hae, secretary of the WPK Central Committee, and officials concerned. |
