Korean People Study Joint New Year Editorial

Pyongyang, January 6 (KCNA) -- Upon receiving the joint New Year editorial, people in the Democratic People's Republic of Korea are now making a deep study of the editorial. Officials of ministries and national institutions, including the ministries of Electric Power Industry and Coal Industry and the General Bureau of Public Service, are studying hard the editorial in order to get a good understanding of what they should do in 2012, true to the behest of leader Kim Jong Il, while making the new year's working plans on its basis. They also find themselves in subsidiary units to explain the editorial to their employees, encouraging them to turn out in the efforts to carry out the tasks set forth in it. The Kim Jong Suk Pyongyang Silk Mill, Migok Co-op Farm in Sariwon City, Taedonggang Combined Fruit Farm and many other factories and farms are studying the editorial and discussing this year's tasks during their breaks. People are seen reading the editorial everywhere, even in rush hour. It is indicative of their determination to implement Kim Jong Il's behest for the building of a thriving nation, in hearty response to the call of the Workers' Party of Korea. Meanwhile, TV and radio have broadcast the editorial repeatedly and newspapers have carried articles dealing with it. |
