Vietnam's Rubber Exports Increase

| Pyongyang, January 7 (KCNA) -- Vietnam pocketed 3.1 billion U.S. dollars from about 800 000 tons of rubber exports in 2011, a high record that posted an increase of 2.2 percent in volume and over 31 percent in value year-on-year, the Vietnam Rubber Association (VRA) reported on Wednesday. Currently, Vietnam has about 740 000 hectares of rubber plantations, mainly located in southeastern provinces. |
