Earthquakes Hit Different Countries

| Pyongyang, January 8 (KCNA) -- An earthquake with the magnitude of 5.1 jolted Gorontalo of Indonesia earlier Thursday. The quake struck at 08:19 a.m. Jakarta time (0119 GMT) with the epicenter at 94 km southwest Gorontalo city of Gorontalo Province and with the depth of 43 km. On the same day, a 5.3-magnitude earthquake hit the Dominican Republic and a 5-magnitude earthquake jolted southern Iran. |
