IRGC Commander: Iran Prepared to Give Crushing Response to Enemies

Tehran, January 11 (KCNA) -- Commander of Iran's Islamic Revolution Guards Corps Major General Mohammad Ali Jafari said on Monday that the forces under his command are well-prepared to thwart any plots masterminded by the enemies.

Jafari made the remarks on the first phase of IRGC ground force maneuvers dubbed "Martyrs of Unity". IRGC maneuvers play significant role to neutralize the enemies' assaults, he said.

"The message of IRGC maneuver is that the IRGC forces along with Basiji (volunteer forces) are determined to defend the country's territorial integrity."
