Speaking at a joint meeting of the State Council for preventing and decreasing earthquake damage held in Beijing, Hui Liangyu said that all regions and relevant sectors should make a steady progress in earthquake observation, measurement and forecast, protection of buildings from earthquake and rescue activities.
