Pyongyang, January 13 (KCNA) -- Organizations of Democratic Congo and Peru released statements on Jan. 6 in support of the joint New Year editorial of the DPRK.

The Working Citizens' Association of Democratic Congo said in its statement that the world was deeply moved to see the party, army and people of the DPRK overwhelmed with irrepressible grief over the demise of the great leader.

It continued:

The association is convinced that the Korean people will show the world that they are steadfastly carrying forward the revolutionary cause of Juche under the leadership of HE Kim Jong Un, their supreme leader, on the occasion of the centenary of birth of the great President Kim Il Sung.

The association will further intensify the activities for friendship and solidarity with the Korean people.

Our association remains unchanged in its stand of supporting the Korean people in their cause of achieving the reunification of the country in an independent and peaceful way, guided by the spirit of the three charters for national reunification and the June 15 joint declaration.

We will let the people of Democratic Congo clearly know about the reality of the DPRK with a view to building up strong public opinion supporting the efforts of the DPRK to accelerate reunification by the concerted strength of all the Koreans in the north and the south and overseas.

The Peruvian Preparatory Committee to Commemorate the Centenary of Birth of President Kim Il Sung in its statement expressed belief that the Korean people would achieve greater success in their drive for the economic development and independent and peaceful reunification of the country true to the wise leadership of the dear respected Kim Jong Un and the Songun politics.
