Probe into Scams Committed by Lee Myung Bak's Confidants Demanded in S. Korea

| Pyongyang, January 13 (KCNA) -- Kim Jin Phyo, floor leader of the Democratic United Party of south Korea, called for setting up a special headquarters under the Supreme Prosecutor's Office for investigation into the irregularities and corruption committed by confidants of Lee Myung Bak, according to south Korean MBC. He said that there are more than 30 people involved in illegalities and corruption disclosed among confidants of Lee Myung Bak one after another, stressing the need to probe them to the last. The "Grand National Party" has rejected the proposal of opposition parties to open a session of the "National Assembly" for introducing a law for special investigation to probe the truth behind the Ddos attack on the homepage of the Central Election Commission, he said, urging the GNP to reply for what fear it tries so hard to check the probe. |
