The factory gained public favor at the Third Commodity Exhibition of Pyongyang Department Store No. 1 held some time ago.

Its products attract many customers at the recently opened Kwangbok Area Supermarket, too.

The factory supplies the supermarket with more than ten kinds of products like sweets, cakes, soft drinks, Eskimo pie and essential foodstuffs.

Kim Jong Sil, a 31-year-old woman living in Mangyongdae District, Pyongyang, told KCNA her children favor differently patterned sweets produced by the Sonhung Foodstuff Factory.
