Participants in Int'l Meeting Pay Tribute to Kim Jong Il

Pyongyang, January 15 (KCNA) -- The participants in the ambassadorial-level meeting of the Coordinating Committee of the Non-Aligned Movement held at the UN Headquarters on Jan. 11 expressed condolences in memory of General Secretary Kim Jong Il.

Prior to the discussion on main agenda of the meeting, the permanent representative of Egypt who chairs the NAM said that Kim Jong Il's undying feats for the strengthening of the NAM would remain long in their hearts.

He, on behalf of the NAM, proposed the participants to observe a moment's silence in memory of Kim Jong Il.

All the participants paid a silent tribute to memory of him.

Representatives of Morocco, Jamaica, Palestine, Venezuela, Bangladesh, Nicaragua, Equatorial Guinea and other countries voiced deep condolences to the DPRK government and people on his demise.
