China Launches Meteorological Satellite

| Beijing, January 14 (KCNA) -- China successfully put meteorological satellite Fengyun-II 07 into its preset orbit on Friday. Carrier rocket Changzheng-3 with the satellite atop blasted off from the Xichang Satellite Launch Center. The satellite will be used for providing continuous meteorological monitoring and sending maritime and water resource data. |
