Checking Effectuation of FTA Called for in S. Korea

| Pyongyang, January 15 (KCNA) -- Ri Jong Hui, chief of the opposition United Progressive Party of south Korea, in a press conference in Seoul on Wednesday called for struggle to check the effectuation of the railroaded Free Trade Agreement. The FTA with the U.S. is seriously encroaching on the interests of the people, Ri said, adding: This fully shows the nature of the humiliating agreement. The authorities are yielding to the U.S. pressure, Ri said, urging the opposition parties to unite and struggle against the FTA. |
