The general secretary said that his party is sharing the sorrow with the Korean people over the demise of General Secretary Kim Jong Il that was so sudden and early to their deep regret.

His party has been encouraged to see the Korean people work hard to build a thriving socialist nation, holding the dear respected Kim Jong Un in high esteem as their supreme leader by turning their great sorrow into strength and courage, the general secretary noted.

He expressed belief that the Korean people would intensify the anti-imperialist struggle and the drive to defend socialism with the Songun politics under the leadership of Kim Jong Un.

The Communist Party of India will always extend support and solidarity to the Workers' Party of Korea and the Korean people in their efforts to glorify 2012 as a year of proud victory, a year when an era of the prosperity is unfolding, true to the behests of Kim Jong Il, he declared.
