The untimely demise of General Secretary Kim Jong Il is a bitter grief to myself and the Soekarno family, she said, adding:

I cherish as eternal memoirs the benevolence he meticulously showed for me with fraternal affection whenever I visited the DPRK.

The future of the DPRK is certain as it is guided by the dear respected Kim Jong Un fully carrying forward the idea and cause of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il.

Through the joint New Year editorial we came to know well about the stand of the Workers' Party of Korea to glorify this year marking the centenary of birth of Kim Il Sung as a year of proud victory, a year when an era of prosperity is unfolding, under the leadership of Kim Jong Un.

We expect that the WPK and people would achieve fresh successes in attaining the goals set for this year, and support the stand of the DPRK to open the gate to national reunification by achieving national reconciliation and unity.

We wish the Korean party and people success in their courageous efforts to build a thriving nation and realize national reunification under the wise leadership of Kim Jong Un.

We will strive for the development of the cooperative relations between the two parties.
