The Russian Association for the Study of the Juche Idea said in a statement:

The joint New Year editorial published by major newspapers of the DPRK stressed that marking the fifth anniversary of the publication of the October 4 declaration, the action program of the June 15 joint declaration, the atmosphere of supporting the north-south declarations and the will to implement them should prevail across the whole of the national territory.

Convinced that the whole nation in the north and the south of Korea and abroad will get firmly united under the banners of the June 15 joint declaration and the October 4 declaration and make a breakthrough for independent reunification this year, we express full support and solidarity with the Korean people's cause of national reunification.

The Stoke-on-Trent Branch of the British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea said in a statement:

The Korean people will implement the militant tasks set forth in the joint editorial and thus brilliantly adorn this year marking the centenary of birth of President Kim Il Sung.

The heroic and revolutionary people of Kim Il Sung's Korea will surely open the gate to prosperity.

The revolutionary cause of Juche will be reliably inherited thanks to Kim Jong Un, supreme commander of the Korean People's Army.
